PsychotherapistInsurance
SunPath Psychotherapy is an out-of-network practice.
While we don't bill insurance directly, many clients receive partial reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits.
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, we're happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your care before services begin. We'll provide this estimate prior to your first appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions

SunPath Psychotherapy is an out-of-network practice and does not bill insurance directly.
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, we're happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
-
A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network reimbursement claim.
While reimbursement is not guaranteed, many clients receive partial reimbursement depending on their plan.
-
The easiest way is to contact your insurance company directly. You can ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What percentage of each session is reimbursed?
Is there a deductible I need to meet?
Are there any limits on the number of sessions?
-
Yes. You may use Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds to pay for therapy.
-
Remaining out-of-network allows us to prioritize your care rather than insurance company requirements.
This often means greater privacy, more flexibility in treatment, and the ability to tailor therapy to your needs rather than insurance limitations.

Each clinician has different training, experience, credentials, and areas of specialization. Session fees reflect the clinician you choose and the services provided.
