Lirone Losoff, ALMFT
You might look like you have it together on the outside — but internally, it feels more complicated.
My work is grounded in the belief that people make sense in the context of their lives. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we explore the patterns, experiences, and circumstances that shape how you relate to yourself and others.
Some people arrive with a clear understanding of what's happening. Others simply know something isn't working. Either way, we start where you are.
I work with individuals, couples, families, and other relationship systems navigating disconnection, conflict, anxiety, burnout, or the protective walls that can arise when old pain gets stirred. Together, we work with the deeper patterns beneath these experiences, creating space for more connected, intentional relationships — including the one you have with yourself.
I’m Level 3 trained in IFS and trained in IFIO, the relational model of IFS. In our work, we’ll meet what’s happening in your day-to-day and use it as a doorway to deeper healing.
My therapeutic philosophy:
My style is intuitive, collaborative, and grounded in parts work, relational healing, and trauma-informed care. I believe therapy isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about creating space for deeper connection: within yourself, and in the relationships that matter most. Whether we’re exploring your inner system or the dynamic between partners or family members, this work makes room for the parts that have felt unseen, unheard, or misunderstood.
I don’t see people as problems to be solved—I see the protective strategies that helped you survive, and the possibilities that emerge when those inner experiences are truly met. Our work together is a process of loosening stuck patterns and creating space for greater emotional resilience, mutual understanding, and steadier connection. Over time, this can open the door to more intentional ways of relating—to yourself and to others.
My promise to you
I will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and respect for all parts of you—including the ones that feel messy, guarded, or unsure about being here. I believe that lasting change doesn’t come from forcing progress—it comes from feeling deeply understood, at your own pace. Whether we’re exploring your internal world or your relationships, I’ll hold space for your complexity, your agency, and your capacity to heal.
Who I work with:
Many of the people who find their way to me are trying to make sense of an experience that no longer seems to make sense.
Sometimes it's a relationship that keeps ending up in the same place despite everyone's best intentions.
Sometimes it's anxiety, burnout, self-criticism, or a level of reactivity that feels out of proportion to the situation.
Sometimes it's a major life transition—parenthood, caregiving, perimenopause, career change, loss, or a shift in identity—that has changed the conditions of their lives, and strategies that once worked no longer seem to.
Sometimes it's the experience of moving through the world as a neurodivergent person and wondering why things that appear effortless for others require so much energy to navigate.
I frequently work with:
Individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and self-criticism
Couples caught in recurring cycles of conflict, distance, or misunderstanding, including mixed-neurotype relationships
Neurodivergent adults seeking a framework that makes sense of their experiences rather than pathologizing them
Individuals navigating major life transitions, including identity shifts, caregiving, career changes, and perimenopause
People who find themselves returning to the same patterns and want to understand what keeps pulling them there
A Different Question:
What these experiences often have in common is a search for an explanation that actually fits.
One of the core assumptions of my work is that people make sense in the context of their lives.
Rather than asking "What's wrong with you?" we explore questions like:
What is this response responding to?
What conditions helped this pattern develop?
What role has it been playing in your life?
What has changed that might make it harder for that strategy to work now?

Clinical and Research Experience
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years working across healthcare, finance, and organizational consulting—experience that shaped how I understand systems, power dynamics, and the emotional toll of high-performance environments. That lens now informs how I support clients navigating burnout, identity shifts, and complex relational dynamics.
I also bring the perspective of lived experience. Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD and dyslexia, and working through the impact of complex trauma, gives me a personal understanding of what it means to feel both resourceful and misunderstood. These experiences deepen my commitment to a non-pathologizing, neuro-affirming approach and to creating spaces where all parts of someone’s story are welcomed.
Alongside my clinical work, I founded a neuroinclusion consulting practice focused on creating systems where all minds can thrive.
